Having collaborated on a number of projects, Studio Lolly and Pop Build decided to officially join forces in early 2024 to create Lollypop Architects, a charismatic studio with bases in both London and Rutland. We are excited to see where the coming year takes us!
Architect
Laura Steventon
Ba(Hons), MA, PgDip, ARB
Laura trained at Newcastle University and has since amassed over 10 years of architectural experience in London. Her commissions have been largely varied, from refurbishments of individual homes to new build neighbourhoods that include hundreds of homes with commercial premises, to bespoke new build hotels. She has worked for award winning architects including Farrells and West Port Architects, before founding her own company, Studio Lolly in 2021.
Laura is passionate about creating real homes for real people with a strong focus on understanding each client’s individual lifestyle and honing in on appropriate design solutions that work for them.
Architect
Jack Thompson
Ba(Hons), MA, PgDip, ARB
During the course of his career, Jack has worked at award winning Architecture firms, Architects Design Partnership, Scott Tallon Walker and HUT before founding POP BUILD in 2018. Jack has completed and worked on projects across a wide array of sectors including commercial, education, healthcare and residential architecture with budgets ranging from one million to 150 million.
Jacks specialist knowledge of BIM has been an invaluable asset, allowing him to lead the charge of achieving and executing level 2 BIM requirements for both small and large scale projects.
He has a passion for modern design and believes that Architects have a responsibility to ensure construction is sustainable and that buildings should contribute back to their surrounding context, adding value for both people and the environment.
Construction Consultant
Andy Thompson
Andy has over 40 years of of construction experience having gained his advanced craft in brickwork. Andy ran his own construction firm A.J Thompson Building Contractors for over 30 years.
He has worked in the civil sector, commercial sector and domestic sector and has vast and encompassing knowledge with uncountable project completions from the foundations to handing over the keys to a property.
Andy acts as a consultant to Lollypop Architects and also teaches construction to the new generation.
