Brief & Execution

A former three bedroom, single bathroom home, situated on a four acre plot; the brief for The Spinney was to create a modern six bedroom, six bathroom home that connects seamlessly with the established gardens. In response to this brief, large expanses of floor to ceiling glazing have been built to connect the outside to the inside and maximise daylight. At first floor level, we incorporated a large balcony from which to enjoy The Spinney’s unrivalled sunsets.  

Each bathroom is truly bespoke, with materials including marble, Douglas Fir, and stone. These natural materials are used throughout the house, providing a warm feel to the contemporary space. Externally, the home is rendered white, ensuring that the garden colours pop all year round.
